About Us

Caryana is like a mountain, a city set on a hill, a light, an island.

CARYANA stands for “Christ Accepts Righteousness You Are Now Apostles.”

It started with a small group of high school girls who had a profound spiritual experience during a graduation retreat conducted by Rev. Fr. Odon de Castro and Rev. Fr. Carlito Cenzon. The girls decided that they wanted nothing else in life except to go to heaven and to do whatever God wanted them to do. Many joined them who took their salvation seriously, and the rest is history.

We are laymen, not religious in a canonical sense.

We are monastic in our way of life, that is, set apart from this world.
